We are sure your children will enjoy exploring the processes involved in block printing!

To address safety issues, traditional tile blocks and carving tools are replaced with child safe materials and tools.

Children will be taught how to create a design and transfer this to their soft block. We will then teach them how to carve their design, ink it up using a roller and print.

The possibilities with this creative medium and process are endless. A combination of layers with different colours and designs can be used, one on top of the other, to create interesting and detailed artworks.

We will guide your child through the creation of their basic prints and allow them to explore more challenging steps to this process if they wish to go further.

Your child will take home their experimental and final prints, together with their print block.
